While U2's new album timetable seems to have changed several times over the past year, it appears the band is holding firm to a 2014 arrival.

Despite some reports earlier this year claiming Bono and Co. had pushed the lucky 13th set back until 2015, Rolling Stone reports those were a bit premature, citing a band spokesperson as saying, "We've always said an album is expected this year."

The Irish Times reported earlier this month the album may be released as early as September-October, with a single sooner rather than later.

Having worked with the likes of Danger Mouse, Paul Epworth, will.i.am and Ryan Tedder, the new album follows No Line on the Horizon, which as released February 2009.
