Just days before the 60th annual Grammy Awards, Tyler, the Creator is making it known that he believes his record Flower Boy should win Best Rap Album.

Speaking on the latest episode of Shane Powers' "The Shane Show" podcast, Tyler said he thinks he has "a chance" at winning. "I think I should win," he declared. "Just something different just needs to win."

He added: "I love [Jay-Z], but fuck, you have Grammys, dog. And I love Kendrick, and I think DAMN. was awesome. “XXX.,” No. 12, is my favorite song on that album. And I think it’s great, but fuck, like, nigga nominated for six other ones. Let him get one of those. I think just in the climate of music now, the sound and just how I went about it, and even my album cover. My album cover should win a goddamn award!"

Tyler's Flower Boy is up against DAMN., Jay-Z'z 4:44, Rapsody's Laila's Wisdom and Migos' Culture for Best Rap Album. As we previously mentioned, Jay leads this year with eight nominations, including in the Record, Album and Song of the Year categories.

The Grammys are set for this Sunday, airing live from New York at 8:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
