Justin Timberlake Updates Website Ahead of New Single

Justin Timberlake has shared another hint of new music.

The singer's website has been updated with a mysterious new logo, which appears to be made up of the letters "MOTW" all intersecting. Earlier this month, it was reported that Timberlake had applied for a trademark for the phrase "Man of the Woods."

According to TMZ, the mark is intended for CDs, DVDs, downloadable music, clothing, concert posters and tours, which has led to speculation that Timberlake will be releasing new music before (and likely after) his halftime performance at the Super Bowl in February.

While the logo might seem like a relatively minor update, it follows a claim last week from Montreal radio station 92.5 The Beat's assistant music director, who revealed on Twitter that Timberlake's new single is scheduled to be released on Jan. 5. The tweet has since been deleted.

Timberlake's last album was 2013's The 20/20 Experience, but he has spent much of the past two years in and out of the studio with Timbaland and Pharrell, the latter of whom previously claimed JT's new music would demonstrate more "vulnerability."

Super Bowl LII is set for Feb. 4 at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
