Donald Trump apparently offered 50 Cent half a million dollars for his support in hopes he'd help woo black voters for him.

According to the rapper, Trump's campaign pitched him with $500,000 to stump for the alleged billionaire during last year's presidential campaign. Not surprisingly, 50 Cent declined.

"They wanted to pay me $500,000 as part of the campaign just to make an appearance," he told host Ebro during an interview this week on New York's Hot 97, adding: "His presidency is an accident. If you were a president by accident, you might do some of the things Donald Trump is doing ... I think he was [campaigning] to build his profile for a bigger deal on television—and everything else."

50 Cent's comments probably wouldn't shock many people, as he was an early Hillary Clinton supporter. "It’s Hillary time," he declared in a 2015 interview with The Daily Beast, noting her extensive past experience.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, black voter turnout dipped in 2016 for the first time in 20 years, while white turnout surged.
