The 2017 Emmy Awards were held Sunday night, with Stephen Colbert hosting.

Most of the this year's winners were revealed last weekend during the Creative Arts Emmy Awards. Among the winners were Melissa McCarthy, Jane Lynch, Dave Chappelle, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver and more.

Sunday's winners include Saturday Night Live's Kate McKinnon for Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, her second win, as well as Atlanta's Donald Glover, becoming the first black winner of Outstanding Directing in a Comedy Series.

In another history-making win, Lena Waithe and Aziz Ansari won for Writing in a Comedy Series, with Waithe becoming the first African-American woman to take home the award.

Later in the night, Julia Louis-Dreyfus nabbed her sixth consecutive win for Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, making history as the performer with the most Emmy wins for the same role, having surpassed Don Knotts and Candice Bergen, who each had five Emmys for their roles on The Andy Griffith Show and Murphy Brown, respectively.
