Katy Perry has some good news and some bad news about her upcoming Witness Tour.

She announced Thursday she has recruited Carly Rae Jepsen, Purity Ring and Noah Cyrus to open for the upcoming trek, although she has also confirmed the start of the tour has been pushed back from Sept. 7 to Sept. 19, kicking off in Montreal.

"Due to unavoidable production delays, major elements of my tour stage design could not be available for me to rehearse on until this week," Perry said today in a statement. "I'm sorry for any inconvenience this causes, but hope everyone who sees the show will agree it was worth the wait."

Perry, who is supporting her recent No. 1 album Witness, is hosting the MTV VMAs on Aug. 27, while Jepsen and Purity Ring have both been working on new albums, releasing "Cut to the Feeling" and "Asido," respectively, to serve as placeholders for the looming new material.
