As Macklemore gears up for a new solo album, the Seattle rapper on Wednesday announced a fall U.S. tour.

The trek, dubbed the Gemini Tour, starts Oct. 6 in Portland, Oregon, with stops planned in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas, Austin, Nashville, Milwaukee, Detroit, Philadelphia, Boston and more. Tickets go on sale this Friday.

Macklemore has spent the summer teasing a new full-length, with singles "Glorious," featuring Skylar Grey, and "Marmalade," featuring Lil Yachty. Both tracks are from the expected album, which won't include longtime collaborator Ryan Lewis, as the two artists are still on good terms but are taking a break from working together to explore other creative angles.

There's no word yet on when Macklemore's album will arrive, but the October-November timeline of his tour may be indicative of an intended release schedule. It's also worth noting, Gemini likely references the album title.
