Missy Elliott took the stage Friday night, headlining the first day of this year's FYF Fest, but she had many famous friends there to support her.

On hand to celebrate the big moment were Beyoncé, Solange, Janet Jackson and Katy Perry, as well as Tyler, the Creator and Björk, the latter of whom stuck around after delivering her own headlining show.

"Who else in here? Katy Perry out here, too," Elliott exclaimed as she was informed of the VIP list. "Solange?! Beyoncé!? B is in the house, y'all! Somebody said Janet. Is Janet in here??"

The hip-hop queen launched her performance with a video montage marking his massive career and influence, before the rapper herself appeared from behind a mirrored door.

She then proceeded to glide through the hits and some gems from her two-decades long catalog, including "The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly)," "Get Ur Freak On," "Work It" and "Pass That Dutch."

Despite some mic issues and technical difficulties, Elliott proved the spotlight was well-deserved.

FYF continues Saturday with Frank Ocean and on Sunday with Nine Inch Nails closing it out.
