Rihanna Wasn't Actually Heckling Kevin Durant

Despite a stir on social media, Rihanna didn't actually heckle Kevin Durant during Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday night. That honor belongs to her assistant, Jennifer Rosales.

Late in the third quarter as Durant was shooting the second of two free throws, someone in the front row was heard yelling, "Brick!" After the Golden State Warriors star then looked in Rihanna's direction, many assumed the singer was the culprit.

Both Rihanna and Rosales were seated courtside for last night's game, in which Golden State triumphed over the Cleveland Cavaliers, 113 to 91. But it was Rosales who heckled Durant, as video from ESPN has now confirmed.

Durant later reacted to the Rihanna theory, saying in the postgame news conference he didn't "remember that." He also seemed apathetic about any mini controversy. "I'm cool," he said. "Have fun with that."

Interestingly, Durant said six years ago on Twitter if he could marry anyone, it would be Rihanna. A year later, he tweeted asking for Rihanna to wish him a happy birthday, which she quickly obliged
