A portrait of Kendrick Lamar is set to hang in the United States Capitol.

Colorado Congressman Scott Tipton confirmed Tuesday afternoon Tiona Cordova of Pueblo, Colorado's Centennial High School had won first place in this year's Congressional Art Competition, for her piece "Utmost Appreciation," which is a painting of Lamar.

The winning piece will be put on display at the Capitol for one year. It is part of Congress' annual contest in which high school students submit original works to their local representative.
