USA Network is diving into the murders of rap legends of Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G.

The cable net has green-lit true-crime series Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G., which will focus on the investigations of the friends-turned-foes' killings.

Newcomer Wavyy Jonez will take on the role of Biggie, while Marcc Rose will play Tupac, as he did in Straight Outta Compton. Meanwhile, Luke James will appear as Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs and Aisha Hinds as Biggie’s mother Voletta.

Transformers' Josh Duhamel will also co-star as LAPD Detective Greg Kading, whose book Murder Rap: The Untold Story of the Biggie Smalls & Tupac Shakur Murder Investigations served as partial inspiration for the series.

Unsolved is expected to premiere in 2018.
