Kanye West has topped MTV's annual list for the Hottest MC in the Game, which was announced over the weekend after a four-year hiatus.
Despite his rocky year in music and in his personal life, West was favored over the likes of Drake and Chance the Rapper, who came in at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively.
Power 105.1's Charlamagne Tha God, entrepreneur Karen Civil and rapper Joe Budden were among the panel selecting this year's Hottest MC. Previous winners include Kendrick Lamar in 2012, Rick Ross in 2011, Eminem in 2010 and JAY Z in 2009.
