Negan isn't going anywhere, Jeffrey Dean Morgan has confirmed about his ruthless The Walking Dead character.

In a new interview with Howard Stern, Morgan noted the show wrapped production for the current seventh season last week and Negan indeed survives. "I know I will be on board for season eight,” he said, adding: "The next two [episodes], I’m really big in. I’m fucking heavy in those."

Morgan's comments come as there are only two episodes remaining before Dead's winter hiatus, this Sunday's new episode and the Dec. 11 midseason finale.

As we previously reported, AMC renewed the zombie juggernaut for an eighth season last month prior to the start of its current one. Next season will begin with the show's landmark 100th episode.
