WiFi-less flights and holidays without an internet connection are suddenly much less stressful, thanks to Netflix's newly announced offline viewing mode.

The streaming platform unveiled the new feature on Wednesday, noting the increasing demand from users. "While many members enjoy watching Netflix at home, we’ve often heard they also want to continue their Stranger Things binge while on airplanes and other places where Internet is expensive or limited," Eddy Wu, Director of Product Innovation, said in a statement.

The new service had been rumored since back in June. But beginning today, select films and series will include a "download" button, which allows viewers to save the content to watch later without an internet connection.

The download feature is available at no additional cost for all plans. User will need the latest version of the Netflix app.
