Dave Chappelle will host the Nov. 12 episode of Saturday Night Live, NBC confirmed Friday.

The network also confirmed A Tribe Called Quest, who had been rumored to be performing that night, will indeed be the musical guest. The hip-hop group announced last week they are releasing their final album, We Got It From Here, Thank You for Your Service, on Nov. 11.

For Chappelle, this will mark the 43-year-old comedian's first time ever hosting the long-running sketch comedy series.

A Tribe Called Quest's appearance comes with their first album in 18 years, which will include the final recordings of the late Phife Dawg.

Benedict Cumberbatch is set to host tomorrow night's episode of SNL, with musical guest Solange.
