With a new album in the works, The xx on Monday added a handful of live shows to their fall schedule.

The trio shared the news today along with a note to fans once again confirmed they are "in the studio working on our third album," adding that "it feels so good to be together making new music."

In the meantime, they've put out a playlist of music they've been listening to while in the studio. The list includes music from Solange, Radiohead, Björk, Frank Ocean, Alicia Keys, Sampha and more.

As we reported exclusively last week, the band is aiming to have new music out "before the holidays." According to a source involved, the new material is said to sound "different from what some fans may be expecting."
