Sean Combs (aka Diddy) has pledged $1 million to his alma mater, Howard University, forming the new Sean Combs Scholarship Fund.

According to WUSA 9, the rap mogul presented the giant check Thursday night to Howard president Dr. Wayne Frederick during his Bad Boy Family reunion show at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.

"One of the biggest blessings is getting the chance to one day be able to give back,” Combs said during his announcement. “And to support the people that supported you... If I didn't get some help, I wouldn't be where I'm at today."

Combs received an honorary doctorate degree from the school in 2014 after having dropped out in 1990.
