After a whopping 17 nominations, Amy Poehler is now an Emmy Award-winning actress.

The Saturday Night Live vet won for Outstanding Guest Comedy Actress for her co-hosting duties last season on SNL alongside buddy and fellow alum Tina Fey. In addition to breaking the comedian's Emmy losing streak, it was the first time a duo has been awarded in the guest performer category.

While the official Primetime Emmy Awards are set for this Sunday (Sept. 18) on ABC, the Creative Arts Emmys presentation took place over the weekend, with Bob Newhart accepting on behalf of Poehler and Fey, the latter of whom had received eight prior gold statues.
