At long last, FX has given Donald Glover's Atlanta a premiere date, having announced Tuesday the comedy series will debut on Tuesday, Sept. 6, at 10 p.m. EST.

Until now, the network had previously announced a "summer" premiere before changing it to August and then September, sans an actual date.

Atlanta centers on Earn Marks (played by Glover), a young manager who is trying to get his cousin Alfred Marks' (Brian Tyree Henry) rap career off the ground, while balancing real life with ambition.

Additionally, FX has confirmed Pamela Adlon and Louis C.K.'s new comedy project Better Things, which stars Adlon, will start on Thursday, Sept. 8, at 10 p.m.

Adlon plays a single, working actor, flawed and with no filter, raising three daughters while also looking out for her mother, who lives across the street.

Ryan Murphy's yet-untitled sixth installment of the American Horror Story series will launch later that month on Wednesday, Sept. 14, also at 10 p.m. Details of the new season are mostly unknown, although Sarah Paulson, Matt Bomer, Lady Gaga, Kathy Bates and Cheyenne Jackson are expected to return.
