Following news that actor James Gandolfini, known to many as Tony Soprano on HBO's The Sopranos, had passed away, fans were quick to react. Not long after it was confirmed, Holsten's ice cream shop in Bloomfield, N.J., the site of the final scene of The Sopranos, was overflowing (as seen in the photo above).

On Wednesday night, the table where the Sopranos sat in the series' final scene remains empty—with a reserved sign placed there in Gandolfini's memory (seen left).

Much like many fans believe of the final scene of the show, Gandolfini's life cut to black far too early. He was only 51.
