Despite its finale being held weeks after the traditional spring season ended, The Voice managed to attract its biggest audience ever on Tuesday night—even going head-to-head against Game 6 of the NBA Finals. The singing competition, which closed out Season 4 with performers such as Cher, OneRepublic, Bruno Mars and others, was watched by 15.3 million viewers and held its own against Game 6, which attracted 16 million viewers.

Danielle Bradbery was announced as this season's winner, and also the show's youngest at 16. Following three previous winners who had been signed to major record labels, toured and shared the stage with the likes of Alicia Keys, Bradbery is the first winner whose singing experience is simply that which she did in her bedroom and for family members. Critics also believe she is likely the one with the greatest chance of career success.
