As we previously reported, After virtually disappearing for 15 years, Neutral Milk Hotel is getting back together for the first time since 1998's In the Aeroplane Over the Sea. The band has since been on a hiatus, although frontman Jeff Magnum has performed solo, including performances in support of Occupy Wall Street. In addition to previously announced dates, the band has now added U.S. dates to their October schedule.

The lineup prior to their hiatus will be kept intact, as Mangum, Scott Spillane, Julian Koster and Jeremy Barnes will all return for a string of dates (seen below).

Some of the proceeds from the tour will benefit the charity Children of the Blue Sky.
