After only a matter of weeks since its release, emerging rapper-singer Desiigner's debut single "Panda" has topped the charts in the U.S.
The track toppled Rihanna and Drake's "Work" on Monday after eight weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100.
While "Panda" was released in December, it garnered massive attention earlier this year when Kanye West sampled the song on his new album The Life of Pablo.
The 18-year-old Brooklyn musician, who is now signed to West's G.O.O.D. Music label, was on hand today to co-host Billboard's Hot 100 top 10 countdown, in which "Panda" was announced as the new No. 1.
