Ahead of this Sunday's premiere of its most acclaimed series, HBO has renewed Game of Thrones, Veep and Silicon Valley.
Both Game of Thrones and Veep are the most recent Emmy winners for Best Drama Series and Best Comedy Series, respectively, so the news is hardly a surprise, but it follows intense negotiations for GOT.
The show premieres its sixth season on Sunday and HBO did not provide details for the renewed seventh season, but recent reports suggest season seven and the final eighth season will be significantly shorter than previous ones.
Veep's fifth season and Silicon Valley's third begin Sunday night, with their subsequent seasons to follow in the spring of 2017.
