Pharrell Williams has signed on as a producer for Hidden Figures, the very buzzworthy film about three black female mathematicians who helped NASA win the space race.
Deadline reported Tuesday that Williams will also write original music for the film's soundtrack and "oversee all musical elements for the movie."
As we previously reported, Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer and Janelle Monáe are set to star in the flick, which is due out Jan. 13, 2017.
The likes of Kirsten Dunst, Jim Parsons and Kevin Costner also co-star in the film, which is based on Margot Lee Shetterly’s upcoming novel of the same name.
