HAIM: 'New Songs,' Tour Planned for This Summer

HAIM is gearing up to release new music after months off the road and nearly three years since the arrival of their debut album, 2013's Days Are Gone.

"New Songs. New Show. This Summer," the sibling trio tweeted Tuesday evening, with a brief clip of the band in the studio.

While it has indeed been years since their debut LP, they've hardly been taking a break. They were nominated for Best New Artist at last year's Grammy Awards, before hitting the road supporting Taylor Swift on tour.

The band has not yet shared any new music from their forthcoming album, but they've been hosting a weekly radio show on Beats 1, which could perhaps serve as an opening for premiering songs, as James Blake has done with his own BBC Radio 1 residency.

As a positive sign for HAIM's tour plans, they're already scheduled to play a number of major festivals this year, including Hangout Music Festival, Governors Ball, Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza.

Update (March 30): HAIM has announced a handful of spring tour dates. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. local time, although a Songkick pre-sale begins tomorrow (Thursday) at noon EST.
