Band of Horses will release their new album, Why Are You OK, this June, singer Ben Bridwell has confirmed.

The news follows a scavenger hunt the band conducted last week in Austin during SXSW to tease an announcement.

An exact release date is not yet known, but Bridwell noted in a new interview with Entertainment Weekly that much of the record was born at odd hours while he balanced taking care of his four kids. "I work all night and then take them to school in the morning," he said, joking: "I'm the fucking scariest dad in the school, I’m sure."

While Bridwell joined Iron & Wine's Sam Beam to release covers album Sing Into My Mouth last year, this new full-length will be the band's first since 2012's Mirage Rock.
