As electrofunk duo Chromeo prepares its new album, singer David Macklovitch has revealed some of the details for the forthcoming set, which is titled White Women.

Speaking with Rolling Stone, Macklovitch said the band runs its new material through what they call the "American Apparel test ... cute retail hipster girl, fun music. It'll play between a Toro Y Moi remix and a Vampire Weekend record, or a Disclosure song."

Perhaps not coincidentally, both Toro Y Moi's Chaz Bundick and Ezra Koenig of Vampire Weekend will both be featured on the new record, Chromeo's fourth full-length. Also included is Solange, as well as LCD Soundsystem drummer Pat Mahoney, among others.

The band is planning to release White Women sometime in 2014.
