Sia Confirms New Album Coming in May

Sia took to Twitter on Monday night to announce that she will be releasing a new album this May, adding that there would be "no touring, no promo. just music."

The superstar songwriter told Billboard in October that her contract with label RCA Records doesn't require her to tour or do press of any kind, a rarity in today's music climate.

"I get to sit at home with the dogs on the sofa, record in a closet in the office, send them off and, if I'm lucky, make a million dollars," she said.

While she may not be taking the arena stage anytime soon, her mega-hits still span the globe, having penned chart-toppers for the likes of Rihanna, Jessie J and Shakira. Most recently, she co-wrote Britney Spears' new single "Perfume" and Eminem's "Beautiful Pain," having been featured on the latter as well. She's also featured on Angel Haze's newly release anthem "Battle Cry."

Sia's last studio full-length, We Are Born, was released in June 2010.
