Dr. Dre, Oprah, Rick Ross & More Want to Buy Clippers

With the Clippers apparently up for grabs in the near future, the roster of wealthy celebs and business people interested in buying the NBA team is quickly growing.

While some are legitimately mulling a bid, either solo or with a group, a few are all jive (ahem, Frankie Muniz). Nonetheless, below are some of the most high-profile contenders.

- Dr. Dre is reportedly "absolutely" interested in buying the team, according to TMZ
- Oprah is said to be "mulling a bid" with billionaires David Geffen and Larry Ellison, per ESPN
- Matt Damon says he doesn't have enough money but he told CNBC he'd jump in with Magic Johnson as a "super tiny minority investor"
- Magic Johnson said earlier this week he isn't interested though, according to the Chicago Tribune
- Floyd Mayweather and Oscar De La Hoya may be teaming up for a potential buy
- Tracy Morgan tweeted Wednesday afternoon that he "wants in"
- Rapper YG joked on Tuesday that he's the new owner of the "Bompton Blippers"
- Frankie Muniz also said Tuesday on Twitter that he's "buying the Los Angeles Clippers," but that's obviously rubbish
- Mindy Kaling also took to Twitter to declare her intent to buy the Clippers, promising the "uniforms will be the same but bedazzled"
- Sean Combs/Diddy/Puff Daddy also tweeted that he'll "always be a Knicks fan, but I am a business man" (Whatever, dude)
