After setting a ratings record for FX, American Horror Story has unsurprisingly been renewed for a fifth season.

Including live plus three-day DVR viewing, the show's current season, Freak Show, racked up 10 million viewers, beating Sons of Anarchy's final season premiere last month to become FX's highest-rated show.

The fifth season of AHS will kick off next October.
