Fans of Yeah Yeahs Yeahs shouldn't expect a followup to last year's Mosquito anytime soon, as frontwoman Karen O say they're "on a bit of hiatus at the moment, so nothing yet."

Speaking with NME, she added: "We have to wait to get the urge, get that itch. The time needs to be right and we're OK waiting for that, I think."

That certainly doesn't provide much promise for new music in 2015, but a lot can happen in 12 months.
