Iggy Azalea's Tour Rescheduled After Slow Sales, Reports of Behind-the-Scenes Drama

A Saturday Night Live parody sketch over the weekend might have been the least of Iggy Azalea's current concerns, as her upcoming tour might be in trouble.

According to The Wrap, the rapper's recent decision to quit using social media has also been accompanied by decreasing communication with her management, only weeks before she's set to kick off an arena trek on April 14 in Fresno with Tinashe and Nick Jonas supporting.

Aside from the apparent behind-the-scenes activity, it doesn't seem the tour is selling as quickly as promoter AEG might have hoped.

We checked various dates for ticket availability and, as of this writing, found decent (in some instances, great) seating options. The first stop, which has been on sale since mid-December, still has plenty of lower level seats, while the April 21 date at Staples Center in Los Angeles (granted, a larger market than Fresno) has sold out of floor and lower level, but still has tickets for every other tier. Las Vegas' MGM Grand Garden Arena and Boston's TD Garden are among the venues which have yet to fill up lower level seats.

Update (March 10): Azalea's tour has been rescheduled for the fall. Her label Def Jam Recordings says that "to accommodate for creative team availability and tour productions, it was determined that the tour will not be ready this spring. It's important to Iggy that she delivers the show she envisaged to share with her fans and that requites more time in development."

A rep for Azalea also told Billboard there's "no truth to the rumor that there's any conflict between her and her management."
