Netflix announced Thursday it has officially renewed House of Cards for a fourth season, just a little over a month after the hit political series debuted its third season on the streaming service.

The renewal comes as more of a formality, as the series is expected to begin production this summer around Baltimore, the location used for past seasons.

A firm premiere date won't be revealed for months, but it will likely be sometime in February or March 2016, perfectly timed for the fictional U.S. presidential battle between Frank Underwood and his foes and the real one, likely between Hillary Clinton and her foes.
