Jack Antonoff Offers to Produce New Music for Kesha

A day after his friend and collaborator Taylor Swift donated $250,000 to help Kesha, Jack Antonoff has followed with a "standing offer" to produce new music with the singer, who is in the middle of a brutal fight against Dr. Luke and Sony.

Noting that he doesn't know "what the legal specifics are," Antonoff tweeted Monday that should Kesha want to "make something together & then leak it for everyone I'm around." He added: "Or just make something and wait on it till that creep can't block you anymore. standing offer."

As Vulture points out, both Kesha and Antonoff are signed to RCA Records, so it's unclear how such a proposal might work.

Dr. Luke, whom Kesha has accused of sexual abuse, released a statement on Monday through his lawyers, claiming the singer "is already 'free' to record and release music without working with Dr. Luke as a producer if she doesn’t want to."

The statement from Dr. Luke's lawyers went on to call Kesha's allegations "unconvincing and that she had no basis to void record contracts and copyrights."
