Country's new—but largely underrated—golden girl Kacey Musgraves will release her new album, Pageant Material, on June 23, the singer revealed Monday.

The 13-track LP marks the singer's followup to her 2013 standout Same Trailer Different Park, which won the Grammy for Best Country Album last year.

According to the Texas native, most of the album, which she describes as having a "classic and concise sound," was recorded at Nashville's RCA Studio A. She says it was written from the perspective of a "26-year-old who hasn't lost her small town heart and old soul but who has gotten to see the world."
