Damon Albarn Carried Off Stage After Refusing to End Five-Hour Performance

Damon Albarn's five-hour set at Roskilde Festival over the weekend ended abruptly when security guards cut his performance short and carried him off the stage as the crowd cheered.

The Blur frontman was likely intoxicated during his appearance at the Denmark fest, which went until 4 a.m. thanks to Albarn's refusal to call it quits.

Albarn was performing with his Africa Express project, which included fellow Blur bandmate Graham Coxon, Yeah Yeah Yeahs' Nick Zinner, Laura Mvula, Jeff Wooten and more.
