Wavves to Release New Album 'V' on Oct. 2

After sharing their new single "Way Too Much" earlier this month, Wavves have revealed their fifth studio album, simply titled V, will arrive on Oct. 2.

The Woody Jackson-produced set is described as "more of full-band effort," as bandmates Stephen Pope and Alex Gates shared writing duties with the band's frontman Nathan Williams.

Williams took to Twitter last week slamming over their handling of the album's rollout. "It's so obnoxious to work tirelessly on something and then have a bunch of ppl who just see me as a money sign go and fuck it all up," he said. "I spend 365 days a year in a studio making songs and ppl at Warner still think they are gonna call the shots on my art."
