Queen Latifah and Mary J. Blige have both joined the cast of NBC's upcoming live musical rendition of The Wiz.

Entertainment Weekly reported Tuesday evening that Latifah will play title character The Wiz (aka The Wizard), with Blige tackling the villainous Wicked Witch of the West.

Following NBC's previous live adaptions of The Sound of Music and Peter Pan, the network's airing of The Wiz Live! is set for Dec. 3.
