Following the August release of her live Boy (In Studio) EP, Bibi Bourelly sat with Variance during Austin City Limits Music Festival to discuss what’s next—including working on her debut album.

Having appeared on tracks with the likes of Usher and Lil Wayne, and co-writing Rihanna’s infamous “Bitch Better Have My Money” as well as “Higher,” Bourelly’s time to take center stage is definitely now. Not being able to go into too much detail about the album, she shared with us that the debut will include some “pretty exciting stuff.”

We have our fingers crossed for some pretty amazing collaborations and she took note. "We’re working on that," she insisted, acknowledging the long-awaited project is still a work in progress.

She will be finishing up the year with festival dates, joining Jacob Banks’ ‘Into The Wild’ tour, which includes a handful of dates in Canada and the U.S. between November and December.
