Drake's 'Nothing Was the Same' Delayed Until Sept. 24, Will Perform MTV VMAs

Drake fans got a bittersweet bundle of news on Wednesday. His new album, Nothing Was the Same, has been delayed by a week until Sept. 24. But on the bright side, MTV has confirmed he will be performing this Sunday at the VMAs.

The new release date is now reflected on all pre-orders, including Amazon. The VMAs will mark Drake's first live television performance of the album's lead single, "Started from the Bottom."

Newly announced VMA presenters include: Taylor Swift, Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman Jared Leto, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Kevin Hart, Emeli Sandé, A$AP Rocky and others.
